Deep Cleaning Checklist
We use a deep cleaning checklist while cleaning houses. These have always kept our staff focused on what needs to be done.
Miscellaneous
- Ceiling fans (hand washed)
- Lighting fixtures (hand washed in place)
- Clean mirrors and glass
- Blinds (vacuumed or wiped w/ microfiber)
- Moldings, woodwork, window sills & ledges (hand washed)
- Picture frames & knick-knacks (hand wiped)
- All doors (hand wiped)
- Light switch covers (hand wiped)
- Trash bins (emptied / washed / relined)
Kitchen (Deep Clean)
- Closets (vacuumed & shelves wiped)
- Floors (vacuumed and mopped)
- All sinks (scrubbed / disinfected)
- Countertops & backsplashes (washed)
- All cabinet fronts hand wiped (inside shelves & drawers if empty)
- Under stove top cleaned & drip pans
- Outside of appliances cleaned and inside of microwave
- Refrigerator top (hand washed or wiped)
Bedroom (Deep Clean)
- Bed linens changed
- Baseboards (hand washed, without moving furniture)
- Picture frames & knick-knacks (hand wiped)
- Countertops & backsplashes (washed)
- Moldings, woodwork, window sills & ledges (hand washed)
- Cob webs removed
Bathroom (Deep Clean)
- Closets (vacuumed & shelves wiped)
- Floors (vacuumed and mopped)
- Picture frames & knick-knacks (hand wiped)
- Bathroom counters & fixtures (wipe out all empty cabinets and drawers)
- Tub / shower, tiles and glass enclosures
- All sinks (scrubbed / disinfected)
Living Room (Deep Clean)
- Closets (vacuumed & shelves wiped)
- Floors (vacuumed and mopped)
- Picture frames & knick-knacks (hand wiped)
- Stairs (vacuumed, wood mopped)
- Furniture polished (fronts, sides, legs)
- Lamps & lampshades (dusted or vacuumed)
